The Window of My World
The world as seen through my window

As I gaze from the window of my world,
Colors float by like a banner unfurled,
Autos of every hue, shape and size,
Zoom down the hill like a cloud of flies.

Gusty winds mixed with gray misty rain
Spit God's tears against my window pane.
Lightning streaks across the sky,
Splits the world in twain from on high.

Spring brings colorful blossoms and sweet aroma,
Awakens the world from winter's deadly coma.
Greens, reds and yellows crown the trees,
Their leaves sway gently in the breeze.

My window of the world greets me each day,
Casts away feelings of doubt and dismay.
It helps me to see what lies beyond,
May I Never want to break this bond.
