Where were you today when you took another route? You knew where you were going but then came the doubt. Entering your mind came the thought to turn around, speaking so loudly, you could almost hear the sound. Angels were there watching when that oncoming train, you could not hear or see through the down pouring rain, was headed right toward you – they wanted to aid - they could not intervene until somebody prayed. We may never come to know how many a day that our lives were saved because someone knelt to pray. You could be that someone who’s prayers will intervene. God’s Word prayed in faith will bring angels on the scene. A grandmother’s prayers, although she has passed away are stored up in heaven, effective still today. She’s up there with Jesus to hold Him to His word, that He will answer prayers of faith which He has heard. In the course of my life, I wonder now and then how many times the devil’s tried to do me in. I’m sure that I’ve been a star on his hit parade; and he has tried his best, but then somebody prayed.
