You Have To Be Believing

It has been all up and down so far,
Almost like trying to jump-start a faulty car,
I run and I try to leapfrog over a back
But crash in a heap on life’s roller coaster track.

Yet still I am looking for a bright new day,
With bright sun shining to show me the way,
I’ve not lost hope of a brand new start,
For I believe with all of my heart:

Life is for living,
Life is for giving
Of yourself in every way,
You have to be believing,
That you’ll soon be perceiving,
That you can make a difference
That you can make a better day.

It has been bumpy all along the way,
And I have discovered that I have feet of clay,
