Dreams
This is a poem in which a person was stupidly dreamy and his dreams shattered by reality.

I was a prisoner of my dreams

Dreams that cooped me up in fantasy

Dreams that entangled me

in the cobwebs of fancy.

I couldn't stop dreaming

They had captured me

in my mind's prison

making me moony.

Dreams had made me

a hopeless romantic at spirits

riding on the wings

of imagination

devoid of practical thinking.

Whew!Stark reality has crushed my dreams

being the shambles of my dreams

letting me free

free of unreal dreams.
