![]() Silently, the new leaves unfurl Patterning the ground with shadowed mirth. Returning birds sing noisy praise In consonance with the land's rebirth. No longer winter's withered hands Grasp at the forlorn earth. A fresh new coat of color blooms With each new wondrous birth. As the sun prolongs its flight, Kind and gentle warming hands Enclose and protect each promise; Nurturing the pregnant lands, Steadfast in keeping nature's plans.
