Why do you love me the way that you do?
Why must I believe in you?
Your love bruises my skin and cripples my soul.
Your love is dark, black as coal.
My lip bleeds when you love me.
Remnants of your love for all to see.
Your intense love makes me cry.
You say you love me, I wonder why.
In your heart there’s love and kindness
But in the bottom of your glass there's only blindness.
Maybe tomorrow you’ll not love me this much.
I might actually enjoy your touch.
Why do I love you the way that I do?
