These are the creatures I love, Sweet, sedentary Schnauzer, woof. A deer dashing on dainty hoof, A cute cat aloof. A solitary elephant packing his trunk, Maybe even the foul smelling skunk. And the legendary fowl, the swan. And the extinct Dodo, sadly gone from this Earth, The proud old Rooster who crows, Cock-a-doodle-doo! Or the quiet confusion of an owl’s guessing game, Hoo, hoo, hoo? And the moose, silent as a mouse. The Animal Circus, so amazing to see. The creatures like these, which I love.
