FRAGILE AND SMALL
A child is born, fragile and small. We relish, lull in sweet delight ~ oh tranquil sight. As laughter falls upon us all, we then extol this warming light with face so bright! At home though baby oft’ will squall, we heed the call; our lives alight ~ then kiss good-night. ----------- Minute poetry, written for "Rhythm & Rhyme Poetry Challenge" and submitted on Day 4 - January 21.
