It was the middle of the week. A Wednesday to be exact I played Hide and Seek That was a fact Our son turned one five days before. The day was full of fun. and a time to explore. He crawled more than walked, and was unsteady on his feet. He still wouldn't talk, all he did was eat I was unsteady too with a bandage on my knee I had just come home from having surgery I couldn't walk alone and used a metal cane With each step, I'd groan and feel the immense pain My day was going slow but was still okay What I wouldn't give
