AN ENIGMA FOR GENERATIONS
Unyieldingly in stamina she keeps her charges strong with care, a mother is an enigma; disparaging nations beware. The next generation won’t fall because they're sturdy, meek and tall. Though muted trumpets don't resound, when roots are deep, we're safe and sound. -------------- Another attempt at the "Rispetto": [which consists of two quatrains, rhymed abab ccdd, in iambic tetrameter. Traditionally, this Tuscan form of poetry paid "respect" to a woman]. Written for: "Rhythm & Rhyme Poetry Challenge" on Day 6 - January 23. Also, submitted to the "TRADITIONAL POETRY GROUP"
