Celebrate with Writer’s Cramp and Me

Locked in a body racked with pain,
I sat alone and lost, tossed out to pasture.
A friend introduced me to a writing site
rather new but unheard of by me before.

I typed in the URL and waited but a second:
A welcoming window appeared.
I typed in a user name and password.
I became a member of Writing.Com.

In a way, 2002 saved my sanity
because I found a second home.
I began to write again and live,
perhaps a different life but good.

Now, along with The Writers Cramp,
where I once posted many entries,
I celebrate seven years of belonging
to this wonderful group and site.
