She looked then turned and walked away And came and sat down at my side. I looked at her she looked at me I saw her face, I almost died. I asked her if she’d like a drink. She looked then turned and walked away. I asked her where she was heading, She said, “the bar, I said okay.” Within months, she was my best friend; We became close and then closer. She looked then turned and walked away; I placed our bags on the dresser. The skies opened over the seas And poured its sun on my day. I asked her if she’d marry me, She looked then turned and walked away.
