Amputee
What's left for me to let go? *note: I wrote this as a metaphor!

Disheartened, I’m an amputee
Who’s lost another piece of me-
An empty place where once were hands,
Feet now gone on which to stand.
I’ve nothing left with which to share,
Not even knees to bend in prayer.
They’ve sliced away another part,
Knife ever closer to my heart .
Lost, I’m wondering how I’ll live
When I’ve no more limbs to give?
