I thought life was set
same old job for twenty years then came the merger. Severance or move do we stay or do we go decisions to make. Convinced for the best pack it up box after box we said our goodbyes. We left the Midwest on a quiet chilly morn optimistically. Snowy mountain tops frost and ice treacherous roads sixteen long hours. Arrived at the house to a new blanket of snow couldn't find the walk. Unpacked a shovel cleared a path to the front door so we could unload. Lift box after box careful not to slip and fall finally all done. Winter is pretty but oh so very cold here took time to adjust. Duly learned lesson don't move in January to the northeast coast. ~30 lines
