Pulling out

How easy it becomes to be sucked into this black hole of desolation and depression unearned

It has to end tonight….

When I look at you I'm brought into the clear, towed free of this refuse so disguised

It has to end tonight….

Fault and blame are nothing more than cloaks of insecurity, veils of self-loathing

It has to end tonight….

How can either of us be so unabashedly adorned in black pearls and silk

It has to end tonight…

White noise of empathy draws away from what brings us both joy

It has to end tonight…..

Bodies comforted as much as the soul through words and images painted in pain and ecstasy

It has to end tonight…..

All this passion locked inside, even if it's fleeting like the phoenix's birth

It has to end tonight….

Tell me, my precious guide, that you don't feel the same aching even through the night

It has to end tonight

Tell me that you don't want to unravel this intimacy without repercussion

I don't want this to end….not tonight
