My Fallen Warrior

Viewing a brew that is about to bubble and boil over.

"Breathe in, let it out"

I should have never thought of you, but you are what I want.

"Breathe in, let go"

The question left unanswered but the decision made.

"Breathe in, this will pass"

In my heart I know I could not keep you this time.

"Breathe in, stand up"

But for this short time your breath brought me peace.

"Breathe in, one step"

So I won't let you down, we will meet again.

"Breathe in, one day at a time"

Soon enough we will do this together.

"Breathe in, let it out"

We miss you though you won't be far.

"Breathe in, start again"

I love you, now and always.

Rest for now, you have another lifetime ahead of you.
