This is one of the best Christmas stories, ever read by this author/editor/ MARY MOFFETT: TEFF Reminds one of DANCING DAN'S CHRISTMAS by Damon Runyon in essence when whatever can go wrong when barkeeps look back on their lives while beholding yet another crook in a Santa suit. EXCELLENT! Lasher also creates Scuzzy O'Mally as one of those durable, unforgettable characters to savor long after the story reading. In fact On St. Patrick's day (and yes prizes are always late, from this editor/ judge/ hostess ... ON MAR 17, 2009 this short story moves into the winning spotlight. llllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll Sandy surely shows her mettle for mucho detail usage in the flash fiction:
