A poem dedicated to my girlfriend.

Golden waves radiate against the sun,

Brown eyes entrap the scene preceding her.

Her presence stuns me in place like a gun

I can’t move I’m short on breath around her.

Love is in my mind like a mouse on a wheel

Always going around not stopping for thought.

I muster my courage and speak my lot,

she looks at me and smiles heeding my deal

of confessions of an undying Love,

for which I have for her and her beauty

to my being she is necessity.

Wherefore am I so totally in love?

Because she is the meat on my gold plate,

Thoughts of her inspire what I may create.
