      Mother Earth

  The lonesome moon died for you,
  it turned up its nose,
  but beneath, you were there.
  And why? Do you care.
  The tide rolled out to reveal its jewels,
  the sand washed away,
  but will you stay?
  So I asked Him to help,
  this time He heard.
  It was every spoken word.
  Tell me now why you care,
  when the moon and crows follow,
  no you are not shallow.
  Only hiding until now,
  exposed like the sand,
  Like the jewel I found and
  it will not go away this time;
  it will not go away.
