Gabriella

I live in a beautiful rural pocket overlooking the Brandywine River in Chester County, PA with my partner, the proud father of our wonderful daughter Alexandra, who is married with three bright spunky daughters, Thea, Raven, and Rorie.

In addition to precious time spent with family, I read, work at learning how to write poetry, love my garden, and everything outdoors. As for my work, my feet have always been firmly planted in the art world. I began by making photographs & teaching photography. Eventually, I moved over to the nonprofit community where I worked as Director of Development & Long Range Planning for a local museum & grant reader for a couple of small foundations. For most of the last two decades, I served as director of a regional arts service organization. The job, ever-changing challenges, and people involved won my heart and kept me on my toes ! When not working at my day job, I enjoyed teaching at Drexel University in Philadelphia, and working with organizations in trouble through LaSalle University's Nonprofit Management Development Center.

A few years ago, we moved from Philadelphia to Chester County, PA to make more room for family, new adventures, and time spent out of doors. At the same time, I enrolled in New York Writers Studio and joined W.Com. I owe my inspiration to write to my mentor and instructor, Frazier Russell.
