Though I have yet to see your lovely face
Or hear the sweet sound of your spoken name, The thought of you arrests my fond embrace Of our approaching union all the same. I often ponder your mien and carriage (The light of your ease glowing everywhere) And then dream of a spellbinding marriage Of beauty and of all that’s divine there. I am in love with the idea of you, Aware that not even deep space and time Can keep us from meeting once we are due: For now, my love for you lives through this rime! So know and patiently abide on this, That 'till such time our fate will not dismiss.
