The Last Drop Of My Bottle

As I look down upon this place I used to call my home
A memory comes into my head, and I feel so all alone
Then a memory of your face, comes back to me again
I think of those good old days, and my mind begins to spin

Because my whiskey, won't mix with your love
The last drop of my bottle is never enough
When it came to you, I never knew, how much you meant to me
But I guess your love wasn't as strong as my bottle of whiskey

As I walk in through the doors, I realized my mistake
I straddle up to the bar, and lay down my last take.
I know those days are gone, and things will never be the same
I look into my bottle, and the label read your name

It said this whiskey, won't mix with your love
The last drop of this bottle, won't ever be enough
When it came to you, I never knew, how much you meant to me
But I guess your love wasn't as strong as my bottle of whiskey

As they lay me in this wooden box, I had a crazy dream
I saw you standing in the yard standing next to me
The last thoughts I have, are ones of me and you
They buried me with my bottle, they didn't bury me next to you

And my whiskey, won't mix with your love
The last drop of my bottle is never enough
When it came to you, I never knew, how much you meant to me
But I guess your love wasn't as strong as my bottle of whiskey

I guess your love wasn't as strong as my bottle of whiskey
