Claws of Loneliness extend,
Fasten into my tender skin,
Ripping raw streaks;
Bright blood brims in the gashes,
Spilling out,
Streaming downward
In rivulets of despair.
Loneliness pounces,
Trapping me between mammoth paws;
Using sharpened incisors,
Loneliness punctures my skin,
Tearing out chunks of my heart
With a twist of his head,
Before chewing voraciously.
Beseeching screams rent the air,
Falling on deaf ears;
As the relentless attack continues,
Loneliness shows no mercy,
Breaking my neck,
Brutally consuming,
Gnawing until sated on bones of my soul.
