YEAR 2000

Global warming is getting worse the ice caps are melting and the sea is rising. Parts of the earth will be uninhabitable by 2100. At the International Environment Summit not all of the countries have agreed to the proposals to cut carbon monoxide emissions that are a cause of the green house effect, they say that it would lead to major job losses and they do not want that to happen.
The countries who agreed to cut their carbon emissions set out their plans for their countries future energy sources.

YEAR 2030

30 years after the IES the earth is seeing the effects of Global Warming the sea as started to reclaim the land that had been drained for use over the years. A new IES is called and at this all of the countries agree to stopping carbon monoxide emissions completely and using only environmentally friendly energy and transport methods. They set out a time table for the proposal and decide to make carbon monoxide emissions illegal a from 2035 and anyone who brakes the law will b heavily fined $1m and could be sent to prison. There I also proposal to set up a world government that would over see the stoppage of emissions harmful to the environment. All the countries agree that they need a contingency plan in case they cannot stop the effects of global warming.
