Autumn Leaves

                                       Another year floats in the wind,
                                       Unhappily, I wonder where.
                                       Time floats with the things left behind
                                       United with cries in the air.
                                       My mind floats to her brownish hair …
                                       Numbing beauty that made me stare.

                                       Love and loveliness lost with love,
                                       Eventually I’ll understand.
                                       Another leaf floats from above
                                       Vying for the best place to land.
                                       Everything seems to fall as planned,
                                       Someday the leaves will not look bland.
