Slender Darkness...

Slender darkness down a grey windy road
I am listening to every sound
I am lost, scared and shivering cold
Far away footsteps on the ground...

Footsteps closer with every breath
Steadily over rock and sand
I am running into the dark cold depth
I feel the death grip on my hand

Slender darkness I am now part of the night
The cold has reached a all new height
No more breathing no more sight
The grey path can cause no more fright

Slender darkness only blackness in sight
The cold has swallowed me
No more breathing no more sight
The grey path has set me free...
