He sat at the table warming his hands on a freshly poured cup of black coffee. He looked out into the street watching the children as they played in the still falling snow. He watched them as they ran about kicking at the snow that had laid on the ground at their feet. He watched as one girl tripped on the now invisible curb and came to a halt landing in a large pile of the soft white stuff that another child had made. It had not snowed here for years In fact there was not many people alive who had seen snow before.
'Hi Joe.' Came a familiar feminine voice. Joe looked over and as his hazel eyes met with the bright blue eyes of the woman he had come to meet, his hart skipped a beat. Her long blond hair flowed down her back in thick silky waves. Removing her soaked jacket she sat down gently on a seat at the other side of their regular window table. 'I take it the experiment went well' Joe said after a long silence, pointing to the blanket of soft white snow outside. 'Yes. It went better than expected.' Joe pulled his writing PDA from his pocket and removed the stylus from its holder. Placing it on the screen he started writing. Freak weather hits the UK. London see's snow for first time in 70 years.
