Joe sat at the table warming his hands on a freshly poured cup of black coffee. He looked out into the street watching the children as they played in the still falling snow. He watched them as they ran about kicking at the snow that had laid on the ground at their feet. He watched as a blond haired girl tripped on the now invisible curb and came to a halt landing in a large pile of the soft white stuff that another child had made next to the wall on the opposite side of the road to the cafe where Joe was sitting.
'Hi Joe.' Came a familiar feminine voice.
Joe looked over and his eyes met with her blue eyes and long blond hair that flowed down her back in waves as she sat down on a seat at the other side of their regular window table.
'Do you have the item Joe?' she continued quietly.
'Yes. It was easy. To easy.'
