Lost Loves
"Lost Loves" is a poem about having patience with ourselves...

God’s holy and divine purpose
Is for all people to embrace
His all-encompassing love,
For we represent God’s gift to ourselves
And the universe.
His love invites us to love all things
With magnificent and unyielding
Grace and passion.
But God’s greatest lesson to us all
Is patience with ourselves;
We are uniquely involved in the utmost
Sinister and appalling lives,
Filled with regrets and lost loves,
Through which His lesson
Of patience must shine.
For if we are not patient
With ourselves,
We will forget His awe-inspiring,
Fulfilling, and most appreciative and
Dedicated love for us,
And our futures of glory
And free will may not come to pass
In our storied, but brief lifetimes…
