Winter Fires

" Winter's Fires "

I stood upon a barren hill,
Autumn left without a trace.
Flames of orange burning low,
there's magic in this place.

December snows have melted down,
Spring's yet to have a turn.
But for now the cold winds blow
as winter's fires burn.
