Khaos
This is something I wrote after reading from Edith Hamilton's "Mythology."

Khaos is all 'round the world,
people throughout the planet hurled
their lives out the door
and drifted from the shore,
There's Khaos here
and it won't adhere
to the Law.

The Riot Squad assembles
as the streets all over tremble
and the Sailors gather with shoeshiners
and women and servants and moonshiners
too. The Riot Squad raises there shields
to the protesters who will not yield,
except only to Khaos.

Khaos in the Cosmos
has come to almost
stop and break the World asunder
but Peace will not give in to a veiled wonder.
Cosmos and Khaos clash and swirl in the mist
of both time and space, and the land
is ripped and torn this way and that, just understand
that in the coming End, there will be no Catastrophe.
There is a waiting Revelation, a Eucatastrophe.
And Khaos will be no more.
