Relationships: The Game of Chance

Be honest with a true and lasting love;
Leave nothing to chance.
If that someone lets you down in a big way,
Accept their apology
The way they would accept yours.
The most difficult and disagreeable potential lovers
Are those who are bossy,
But don’t have a clue what to do next;
In the somewhat rare and infrequent moments
When the two potential lovers meet,
This slowness and lack of a clue
May not be too apparent –
Time must be taken to reveal this
Obstinate cluelessness to allow patience
For adjustment by the possible other half.

The lack of honesty may not seem too cruel,
But could be devastating to a hopefully lasting relationship.
Communication and openness may also reveal
Possible differences which may harm or end
A potential partnership.
Do not leave anything to chance
In riding the wave of rebirth –
The spring-like season of hope
That a possible new love can bring.
Be forthright and honest,
And accept the early wrong-doings
Of the person whom you hope
God has blessed you with
For all eternity.
The hope is for patience and adjustment
By the two lovebirds,
Exchanging the vows of heavenly matrimony!
