Dismissed… My heart it hurts, my heart it aches; My inner self, oh God, it quakes! For deep within desire’s not there For he who’s always sworn he’d care. I needed him - he didn’t come. His lack of caring strikes me dumb! Seems Cupid’s arrow lost its aim ‘Cause his excuses now stand lame. Such awful lessons bind my soul. They tear me down with no control. I’m barren, seeking only You To heal my heart – to see me through. But where are You my Father, Lord? I’ve come to You in keen accord. We made our bond so long ago Within the heartstrings of Your glow… I seek Your solace and the love You share with energies above To fill my being with strength of heart - To break down walls that tear apart. Oh Lord, Your strength I need right now - I need Your help to disavow This fury that doth rage within! My skin is growing ever thin. The one man that I counted on Has hurt my soul. A lines been drawn. It’s three A.M. --- and all’s not well. For I am in the pits of hell…
