Icicles and Berries
Look around for winter's gifts.

The beauty of spring is in many songs,
but often winter is seen all wrong.

Offers of grandeur occur on chilly days.
Icicles provide a magical maze.

Red berries prosper in glorious view,
coloring the world with a brilliant hue.

White of snow, a purity cover,
a fresh path for hand-holding lovers.

Days are short, dark nights linger on,
a fireplace and cuddling until the dawn.

Don’t dismiss winter to get to spring;
each has their own unique gift to bring.
