Life Moves
As we journey through life, our footprints are deep and permanent.

Life Moves

Though we are but a blink of endless time,
we thumb a ride upon this spinning world.
Where mingling, are the heartbeats of mankind,
and breathing life is like a thirst unfurled.

Our joy has danced on lofty mountain tops,
our sorrow, fallen to the depths of hell.
Entwined like vines, to life we tightly cling,
though soon we'll lose our grip, as time does tell.

Upon our hearts the world will leave its mark
until the day our final breath is spent.
Upon the world, the footprints of our lives
become the landscape, deep and permanent.
