Shivering like a frightened child,
trembling and nervous.
She is afraid of vomiting,
but she goes anyway.
The feeling is intense;
Nerve-wracking and exhilarating.
She loves that he can make her feel this way;
treasures it because it means that she can still feel.
Rather masochistically, she enjoys
the feeling of vulnerability - the intimacy of it.

He senses her tension,
   her nervousness
   her frustration
         confusion
         fear, even.
         He is flattered by it.
It means that she trusts him,
to allow herself to be exposed to him.
He makes no sudden moves.
Graciously, he begs off contact under to excuse of a convenient cold.
She is grateful beyond belief.
She still loves him... whether she wants to or not
for better or worse.
* even after she's seen the other girl’s things.
