The mermaid pulled herself ashore, over the tumbled, glossy rocks and stared at the fisherman. He glanced from his pole to the lovely creature, her eyes the color of a summer sky, her lips full and pink. “Do you mind?” She sneered, before unhooking her turquoise hair and diving back into the grey green sea.
