Feathers
What if every little thing you did had a consequence?

Avg Rating: (65)
Every little piece of you
Is changed by every deed you do,
Into a feather, black or white
One for the wrong, one for the right.

Each virtue is as brightest white,
Each sin as black as darkest night.
Black as a raven, white as a dove,
One filled with sorrow, one with love.
The life you’ve chosen will decide
In which one your soul will reside.

For every virtue you perform
Another feather will adorn
A dove as bright as heavens shine,
A vessel of your own design.
Will your soul be as a dove?
Will your soul be mostly love?

For every sin that you perform
Another feather will adorn
A raven black as darkest coal
Is this the vessel for your soul?
If you should pass away tomorrow
Will your soul be mostly sorrow?

For every little piece of you
Is changed by every deed you do,
Like brightest day or darkest night
Are your feathers black or white?
