MELODY OF THE BROKEN HEARTED Let us start this lonesome melody With a sad, heart-breaking symphony. This music once colored pink and red. Now blackened by your lies; hollow, dead. I remember the time you were mine. You were sweet, my special Valentine. The strings of love played ever softly. That moment when you were still with me. Pure heart, dirtied by misery's stain. Now all my songs show nothing but pain. Forever's gone, back where I started... Melody of the broken hearted. Line Count: 12 Lines Syllables: 9 per line
