One’s ego can make one so needy
That a budding romance can seem so speedy. Counting the profits, becoming so greedy, But then the answer isn’t “yes-indeed-y”. The smaller the ego, the greater the love; Only then can the partner fit like a glove! Flying so innocent, like a white dove, God grants peace and happiness from above… A budding romance, I know you will find, Is not meant to be, for only in your mind Can you free your self-importance from the grind The way God has planned for you, and designed!
