Dear God
A prayer in the face of hopelessness.

Dear God,
Are you out there;
listening, hearing,
receiving of my prayer?
Please give me some sign,
tell me that you care.
Let me know the hope I hold,
my faith is not in vain,
Let me see inside my heart,
an ending to this pain.
In a world so filled with dark,
anger and despair,
Just a sign to prove my faith,
and show me that you're there.
