Hold on
Rated: E | Other | Inspirational | #1529342
I wrote this short poem after supporting a friend through a hard time.
Hold on to the memories,
hold on to the dream,
don't let the anger swallow you
if you have to give a scream.

Yell out all the madness,
send it on it's way,
for tomorrow you'll awaken
to the gift of a brand new day.

If we hold on to the anger,
if we hold on to the pain,
we are blinded to the beauty in life
and all there is to gain.
