ETERNALLY YOURS Paddy has a fine Bar in Dublin with a lucky shamrock sign and when you leave that place at night, you’ll be walking no straight line. Leaving there on an evening fair, I saw a leprechaun at play. My friends all called me crazy but I’ll stick to what I say. He took me to castles of gold, such as I had never seen, out in the mountains of Ireland, sheltered in fields emerald green. No one ever believes my story and there’s only one thing I fear, I may not have seen castles at all, It might have been Paddy’s beer. Tonight I’ll stay right here at home And do up my evening chores, Then to spend the night with you Remaining eternally yours. ![]()
