Sitting in front of a mirror

Hello, I see you're back again.  Who are you?  Why do you always come here and sit in front of my mirror?  Do you know me?  I've seen you here before, but I just can't seem to remember your name.  I kind of remember you, but you look different.  Your hair is grey and tangled.  Your eyes have lost their sparkle.  Your hands are small and wrinkled.  You are bent and old.  Your mouth is speaking, but I can't understand what you are saying.  I don't mean to be rude, but what do you want from me?

Hello, I see you're back again. Who are you?  Why do you always come here and sit in front of my mirror?  Do you know me?  I've seen you here before, but I just can't seem to remember your name.  I kind of remember you, but you look different.  Your hair is soft and silky.  Your eyes have sparkle.  Your hands are smooth and strong.  You are young and beautiful.  Your mouth is speaking, but I can't understand what you are saying.  I don't mean to be rude, but what do you want from me?

I want you to stop looking at me as if I were a stranger.  Stop bowing your head in shame.  Except that we are the same.  Even though we look different, we have one heart and one soul.  We both cry at this image before us and wish that we could change it.  We sit before this mirror everyday because we are alone and afraid.  Without either of us the other would never exist.  Look deep inside these eyes and you will see me there.  Accept me for who I am and set me free.
