I don't believe in fairy tales - they're just too good to be true. A world can never be that perfect; happy endings are far and few. When I have these thoughts, it doesn't mean I feel bitter or jaded. I won't be bought by fanciful dreams and live my life masqueraded. I'll keep my eyes open, staring reality in the face, even if the truths of my actions have me fall from someone's grace. I'll make my mistakes and gladly welcome the lessons I learn. Playing the part of perfection only causes the heart to burn.
