An Acrostic poem for my lovely Grandson, Kieran David Joseph.

Kisses for the newborn son,
In his home with everyone.
Early morning sunrays peep,
Resting on the child asleep.
Angels greet him with a smile,
Near his cot they stay awhile.

Dawn amid December's chill,
All is peaceful, calm and still.
Velvet blankets keep him warm,
In his mother's loving arms.
Delicate and new is he, here with all his family.

Just a perfect baby boy
On this Winter day of joy.
See his blue eyes open wide,
Enchanting all who peek inside.
Picture him with Mum and Dad,
Happy, loving little lad!
