LIVE LIFE UNTIL THE LAST PAGE



It matters not what others might think
When you find your life is passing before you even blink.
For one day others sure  will have their own skin sag
And some day for sure their lovely eyes will start to bag.

So....
When weary legs tire way too fast
And  your thoughts are treasured links to your life that's passed.
When your hope grows dim or when things go wrong
When the world might tell you that you don't belong..
When your children seem to forget you or call you their "old folks"
When you listen and find you are the center of their jokes..

There is still a place under God's blue sky
Where you may soar where eagles are afraid to fly.
You can climb one more mountain as you bow to pray
And you can reach for stars in the middle of the day.

There is so much work left for us to do
If our life has meaning that is surely true.
We must share our wisdom that we've gained in this life
From the years we have toiled and trained to end the strife.

We must never forget there is a time for every age
Whether young or old, only "We" may set the stage.
Every day begins with the play that we must write
We can laugh or cry  'til the curtain's drawn at night.

We can give our best, or give not a care at all
We can pick others up, or stand and let them fall.
We can live alone or reach out and give a hand
We can give support when it's time to take a stand!

When our story is told, hopefully we have done our best
When times were rough, we have tried to pass the test.
So you see what I mean, that wisdom comes with age~
Give~ your time, and hope 'til the very last page!
