I THOUGHT I LOVED YOU
I thought I loved you yesterday When we stood face to face in Church. and made promises to one another. We gave each other rings, endless circles, tokens of our endless love. I thought I loved you then. But this morning I lie still in your arms, the glory of last night still lingering around us. I know that what I felt yesterday was only a shadow, and what I feel today is the substance. What I feel today Is really love.
