Italian Grandmas came by the sea one was nice, and one was mean Annette and Marie both lived the American dream Italian Grandmas one was open, the other closed both spoke perfect Italian gifts of olives under the tree holding their saint's medallion Italian Grandmas Annette and Marie one offered hugs and love, the other a distant memory on wings of a dove Italian Grandmas one lived alone one in a nursing home both died the same year my legacy in stone.
