Remembering God
Wood grain particles bump against God, whirligig Buddhas. Unintended freedom of physics. Vibrations open spaces through which souls pass and nod, swinging incense on a rope. Universe cradled in knitted joints; cranial closure, eggshell cracks, cloud of knowing. The last membrane, Fibrous, translucent. Final barrier to the spaces in between.
